Finding Positives
I am entering my fourth week of working from home now and thought I’d share my running list of positive things that are happening during this time. It is of course a time filled with anxiety and negative thoughts, so I am doing my best to focus on the good and hoped it might help someone else out there. I normally write 3 things I am grateful for every morning but have been writing this extra list these days to stay sane.
more walks in nature
more time with my dog Marty
learning how to play new card games (Rummy, crazy eight, gin)
proving to my superiors that I can effectively work from home
organizing multiple rooms and closets
deep cleaning my bathroom, to the point of making my shower floor a shade lighter
reorganizing furniture for a better flow
pollution is going down
spending less money and therefore saving more money
spending time with family
connecting with family and friends more than ever
appreciating spring blooms more than ever
