Our Apartment

Max and I have been living on the UWS for 3 years together. I have been living in our current apartment even longer than that. The apartment originally belonged to my dad who did the original renovation over 10 years ago. It was his bachelor pad and he graciously left me a lot of his furniture, including black leather barstools, a pleather mirror, a huge wooden sleigh king sized bed frame and more classic bachelor pad things. Slowly over time I made it my own and then Max moved in and we continue to make it ours.

Some of my proudest mini renovations have been hand making our king sized head board, replacing and repainting the pleather part of our beautiful oversized full length mirror, installing larger mirrored cupboards in our bathroom, and replacing all the light fixtures with puck lights and a cool new mid modern chandelier.

My favorite purchases thus far have been our interior define L shaped couch which we reconfigured recently, our Kathy Kuo Home wooden coffee table, our bar cart and black marble night stands in our bedroom.

I am also pretty proud of our gallery wall in the living room that’s made up of special memories.
