Cliche as it is, Paris is one of my favorite places in the world, nothing like their culture and beauty of the city anywhere else

Where to eat

  • Cafe de Flor - iconic unreal hot chocolate

  • Le Relais de L'entrecote - they have them in NYC now, but originally from Paris it is the In N Out of steak frites - SO GOOD

  • Le Meurice - great for tea time, very classy

  • L’as du fallafel - famous falafels - didn't go here but want to next time!

  • Derriere - favorite place! It looks like a bohemian apartment and has a secret smoking room upstairs that is accessed behind a mirrored armoir order the floating island dessert garnished with pop rocks

  • Cafe kitsune - by jardin du palais royale if you want coffee or a snack

  • L’avenue - most famous bougie spot, great for lunch celebrity sightings

What to do (Grouped by proximity to each other)

  • the Louvre (be warned: long lines)

  • Jardin du palais royale - surrounded by great shopping cafes and architecture

  • Arc de triomphe

  • Musee d’orsay - unreal and not as long of a wait as Louvre

  • Jardin des Tuileries

  • Eiffel Tower (duh), but it is out of the way from everything else

  • Palace of Versaille (39 min drive or hour and 5 min by 2 trains)

    1. The River Seine

      • Docks en Seine - exhibition space, boutiques with students art work, bars, clubs and rooftop

    2. Notre dame

    3. Le Marais district for art

      • Galerie Emmanual Perrotin

      • Picasso Museum (42 min walk, 23 min bus)

      • Galerie Chez Valentin

      • Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac

    4. Pere Lachaise Cemetery - Oscar Wilde, Jim Morrison, Suerat, and more all buried there

    5. Sacre coeur

    6. Luxembourg gardens

Where to go out

  • Prescription cocktail bar

  • hotel costes - infamous for their smell and playlist, amazing for drinks or even dinner

  • Kong - glass greenhouse rooftop bar also offer dinner

  • Le bain and L'arc for dancing

  • Le comptoir General

  • Ober Mamma - created chiltern firehouse, have a cocktail with absinthe thats famous

  • Le Perchoir - rooftop bar, good for lunch on the weekend too

  • Andy Wahloo

  • Alcazar

  • UC-61 - Near arc de triomphe, speakeasy bar with a green buzzer, looks like a submarine inside

  • Galeries Lafayette - have everything, check out the roof - epic views 40 Boulevard Haussmann

  • Merci - all profits go to charity for children in madagascar, very pretty and afforadble, sells everything they have a cute cafe too and books everywhere 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais, 3rd
