Amsterdam

In May 2018 I visited Amsterdam for a long weekend with 3 girlfriends. We had a great time exploring the city and even took a day trip out of the city to visit the annual tulip festival and the surrounding tulip farms.

If you’re planning a visit I would say you can definitely cover a lot of ground in just 3 days, and 1 week is probably too long unless you are visiting friends or have some sort of events you are attending. The main attractions in Amsterdam are the beautiful canals and buildings, trying out local coffee shops, eating amazing food and walking around. There are a few great museums but be weary that most of them you need to pre purchase time slotted tickets or be prepared to wait in a line. Amsterdam is pretty small but extremely charming. We strolled around vintage record shops, clothing boutiques were all very unique, and every single food place was incredible that was on our list.
