Arizona

In 2016 right after I graduated college Max and I went on our first solo trip somewhere new together. We decided to go to Sedona Arizona and road trip all around there to all the incredible state parks. We stayed in a little airbnb and rented a convertible through Turo (highly recommend for cheap car rentals). We spent everyday hiking at least 4 hours a day sometimes up to 10 hours. We saw a lot of incredible sights including Cathedral Rock and the Grand Canyon. One of my biggest recommendations would be to rent ATVs and ride around the red rock trails that lead to historic Native American ruins.

On our last day we went back to Phoenix and rented a cabana by a pool in a luxury hotel, it was super cheap and we felt like we were living large swimming with waiter service overlooking the desert rocks.
